Custom Models — Powered Shaftless Payoff

Our powered, shaftless payoff stands are custom tailored to your requirements. These rugged pay-offs feature heavy wall construction and self-centering pintle arms with hardened, conical pintles.

Hydraulic controls easily lift and lower spools while locking safety pins, a mechanical overload clutch, and a fail safe electric brake ensure secure spool positioning.

Custom drive and braking systems can be designed and matched to your application.

Features

• Rugged all welded construction, using heavy wall structural tubing, ensures long life and reliability.
• Hardened, conical pintles and adjustable dog pin accommodate spools with varied arbor holes and dog pin centers.
• Self-centering, powered pintle arms automatically center spool using a heavy duty acme screw.
• Hydraulic check valve lowers spool smoothly and safely.
• Locking safety pins secure spool in raised position.
• Mechanical overload clutch protects spool from being over tightened by the lift arms.
• Fail safe electric brake locks acme screw and prevents operator from inadvertently releasing spool in the raised position.
• Heavy duty ground pivot shaft and linear bearings allow swift, smooth movement of lift arms.
• Powered drive pintle assembly with D.C. motor and reducer.
• Custom drive systems are available as well as non-powered units with magnetic particle brake for back tension.
• Other brakes are available and can be sized at the factory according to the application.
• Single operator's station for simple and rapid loading and unloading.
