HUESTIS INDUSTRIAL BROADENS AIR WIPE OFFERING

RI — Huestis Industrial's Huestis Industrial has broadened
its air wipe offering to include two new Mini-Wipe¨ air wipes
with .187Ó (4.7 mm) and .312Ó (7.9 mm) openings. Model MW0187
accepts wire sizes from a minimum of .094Ó (2.4 mm) to a maximum
of .156Ó (4.0 mm). Model MW0312 accepts a minimum wire size
of .219Ó (5.6 mm) to a maximum of .281Ó (7.1 mm). The addition
of these two new models brings the Huestis Mini-Wipe product
offering to six and provides for applications from .343Ó (8.7
mm) and below.
Huestis Mini Wipes, designed for bare wire applications, or
applications not requiring self-opening units and with limited
space requirements, can be used singly or in multi-strand
drying processes and are ideal for tight process lines. The
design is based on the maximization of controlled, properly
directed air flow and works to dry wire efficiently and effectively.
Wet wire enters the rear of the Mini Wipe and is then exposed
to a perimeter of drying air jets. Ceramic entrance and exit
eyelets prevent the wire from chaffing the mini wipe. Properly
sized tolerances dry wire better than adjustable models and
significantly increases wire quality. Cleaner wire means
fewer rejects and a positive, measurable impact on production
capacity.
Huestis Mini Wipes are made from solid, non-corrosive UHMW
polyethylene and are offered with either flat or angled (90û)
mounting brackets.
