QUANTUM PARTNERS WITH HUESTIS FOR COLLIMATORS

NY — Quantum Medical Imaging has announced that the company
has selected Huestis Medical as its premier supplier of collimators
for Quantum's new radiographic systems line.
Quantum Medical Imaging designs and manufactures advanced
radiographic systems and ultra high frequency generators.
The company's new Q-Rad line of radiographic systems features
Huestis Medical's Selectable™, automatic, and manual
collimators.
Huestis Medical collimators feature modular construction
and a patented, perpendicular flat blade design to greatly
increase reliability and facilitate quick servicing. The company's
new Selectable™ collimator provides pre-formatted sizing
without the complexity of traditional Positive Beam Limitation
(PBL) systems. Uniquely simple, it alleviates complex systems
traditionally required to accept, size and feed information
from the Bucky to the collimator.
