Tray•plotter® Shielding Block Image Plotter

Tray-plotterHuestis Medical's Tray•plotter® shielding block image plotter outlines block images directly onto shadow trays. Tray•plotter enables therapists to quickly and precisely position an alloy shielding block on the tray to provide highly accurate tissue targeting and patient protection during radiation therapy.

Tray•plotter is offered as an optional accessory to Huestis Medical's Compu•cutter® computerized block cutters. This quick, easy to use plotter utilizes the same file that cuts the shielding block shape to provide maximum block alignment accuracy.

 


Features

Direct Outline Plotting

  • Plots block outline directly onto tray.

Accurate, Easy and Fast Set-Up

  • Uses the same file that cuts and processes the shielding block shape to ensure alignment accuracy.
  • Direct positioning dramatically reduces errors and set-up time.

Corrects for Collimator Rotation

  • Image is automatically corrected for collimator rotation for alignment accuracy and orientation.

Prints Block/ Patient Information

  • Conveniently prints pertinent block and patient information directly on a pre-designated area of the tray.

Accepts Wide Variety of Block Trays

  • 8” — 14.19” wide, “Y” (20.3 cm — 36 cm).
  • 9.63” — 15” long, “X” (24.5 cm — 38 cm). (including the handle area).
  • .125” — .375” thick, (3.2 mm — 9.5 mm).
  • Accepts trays with holes or slots.

Large Print Area

  • 10” wide x 12” long (25.4 cm — 30.5 cm).

Selectable Printing Format

  • Printing format is selectable between solid and dotted lines to accommodate holes or slots in block tray.

No Additional Power Requirements

  • Included power adapter shares the existing printer's power receptacle.
  • Serial interface cable connects directly to the COM1 port on your Huestis Medical Compu•cutter.
  • Convenient push button “Power-On” switch easily located on side of unit.

Quick Block Tray Loading

  • Support arm and pen carriage automatically seek home position when unit is powered up.
  • Movable support arm slides toward pen holder for block tray clearance.
  • Block tray is placed and securely positioned on spring-loaded capture pins and tray rail lips.

Software Support

  • Included Compu•cutter® software upgrade allows Tray•plotter to operate with your existing system.
  • Compatible with Windows 3.11 or Windows95 drivers.
  • Dialog prompts provide simple, clear instructions throughout plotting.
